Blind Logic Productions announces their support of October’s Blindness Awareness Month

We wish to bring a heightened focus on the blind and visually impaired community and the realities of living without sight. This will further educate the public about eye health and the latest research innovations in the treatment of eye disorders and share inspirational stories about blind people overcoming tremendous odds.

Los Angeles, CA – October 20, 2022 – Blind Logic Productions, LLC is proud to announce their support of this year’s Blindness Awareness Month, and World Sight Day October 13th, bringing a heightened focus on the blind and visually impaired community and the realities of living without sight.

Blindness Awareness Month seeks to educate the public about eye health and the latest research innovations in the treatment of eye disorders and share inspirational stories about blind people overcoming tremendous odds. It further advocates organizations to garner support for more resources, research, access, and laws that enable people with visual impairments to live fully productive lives contributing equally to their communities.

The numbers are staggering. An estimated 2.2 billion people around the globe suffer from some form of visual impairment or blindness, including everyone who simply wears corrective lenses. An estimated 32.2 million adult Americans reported they either “have trouble” seeing, even when wearing glasses or contact lenses, or that they are blind or unable to see at all.

Blind Logic Productions and their film, Blind Logic – The Ralph R. Teetor Story, is currently in post-production of this inspirational true story of one remarkable American visionary and pioneer who faced insurmountable odds throughout his life. Blind at age five, Ralph Teetor developed the fortitude to live his life as if he could see. An American inspiring story about a fearless and insightful leader who explored the vast frontiers of automotive technology. This film is slated for completion in 2023.
